missing EPG data using DVB-S script

Hi,

for some reason the xmltv generated from MegaEPG recently started to provide really poor data, i'm using the DVB-S script with a connection to YES, and i get only few shows for every day (and missing information between the shows), it seems that the shows i do get has accurate data (compared to YES epg presented on their device), yesterday the EPG was great, i rerun the tool and keep giving the same data.

any idea how to resolve this?

Issue Resolved somehow

don't know how, i woke up this morning and found full EPG data (i have a scheduled task to refresh data every hour).

but still can someone comment on how to address this next time?

I'm experiencing the same

I'm experiencing the same problem for a long time.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the quality (and strength) of the signal received from your satelite dish.

In the past, I had much better signal, but recently the signal strength and quality went down and sometimes I'm getting the same as you...some missing data between shows.

I think the signal quality is also weather dependant...

Hope this helps...maybe you can ask YES to improve your signal. Just tell them you're having problem with the picture you get...freezes and such... :-)
