Any progress on that? Alpha/Beta versions? Win7 is no longer a Beta but rather RTM, Dated Oct. 22nd for public WW release.
I've been using 1.3.x w/Bug Screen EPG for the last few months (Win7 x64 RTM - build 7600). It's basically working but with quite a few flops where all of a sudden there is no data on some channels.
Appreciate if there will be a testing version we can help with. It will be most likely better than the current workaround.
Some patience, please :) Windows 7 support is pretty complicated, Microsoft has made the EPG subsystem one of the most complex parts of the media center. It very much depends on the TV card you have inside and in many cases it requires a lot of work to bypass the fixed way the Media Center tries to obtain EPG with. As a result many different hardware setups and tests are needed. Right now I'm stuck with a DVB-S card (Win7 detects a DVB-S and thinks it'd get the EPG from the DVB stream *only*).
If you have a DVB-S card, Windows 7 will try to obtain EPG from the DVB stream itself, without even asking you :). And of course, it'll obtain nothing thanks to many custom and non-standard YES DVB fields.
No, TVPack will not be supported. Nor I recommend to use TVPack anyway cause it's just a buggy, incomplete, pre-release of the Win7 media center subsystem. Regardless of the EPG, you'd better stay either with Vista or with Win7, not in the middle :)
Yes. I'm working on it. I

Well, if there's DVB-S installed, why not to get the EPG from DVB stream only?
Probably, it's not that flexible, but for many users (like me :) ) it would be appropriate!
